IUCN SULi member and #DSUTOTW award winner Adam Hart supports trophy hunting. You probably already knew that - but there are a bunch of people who like to hold on to the narrative that sustainable use activists like Hart are neutrals in the trophy hunting debate.
Those people are delusional though. How can you honestly believe that someone is neither pro- nor anti-trophy hunting if they are anti-trophy hunting ban?
And don’t get me started with the whole “Mr. Dr. Professor Adam Hart only cares about the truth which is why he speaks out against misinformation!” Please show me how many times he’s written or talked about the multimillion-dollar disinformation campaign promoting trophy hunting.
But we can finally stop this “Hart is neither pro- nor anti-trophy hunting” charade because Fieldsports Channel officially exposed Hart as pro-trophy hunting. Unfortunately for Hart, he seems to have put too much faith in his trophy hunting companions’ discretion during the public relations campaign for the Jamma International-funded propaganda film.
According to Fieldsports Channel’s promotional material, “Professor Adam Hart speaks up for hunting tourism. He is one of the few British academics brave enough to support regulated trophy hunting.”
That’s Adam Hart, alright. So brave. So supportive of trophy hunting.
Fieldsports Channel also stated, “Science says that hunting tourism works for wildlife – but the professor’s support for it draws abuse from anti-hunting academics.”
I wonder what kind of abuse Hart has encountered for his support of trophy hunting? Has he been threatened with a defamation lawsuit if he didn’t comply with someone’s demands to censor his work?
That must be rough. Maybe that’s why he has to take breaks from his work to hang out at luxury trophy hunting lodges and go on all expenses paid trips to Namibia.
Hart certainly has a lot on his plate though. He doesn’t just support trophy hunting – he also supports others that support trophy hunting.
Do you enjoy making films about your wife’s big game hunting trips? Add a splash of color to that female empowerment story and Adam Hart will be singing your praises!
Did you write a book about how you’re not a hunter but the harsh realities of rural Africa helped you understand the importance of trophy hunting? Praise that sweet Great White Hunter and Adam Hart will give you a glowing review!
[The author of that pro-trophy hunting book is a big fan of Candace Owens. Learn more about Candace Owens’ love for trophy hunting and white supremacy here.]
I’ve always wanted to write a book detailing what I’ve learned about the people and organizations that support trophy hunting. I wonder if Hart would give that a good review too?
